Fort Worth, TX – Two Officers Injured In Crash On Interstate 35

Fort Worth, TX (May 28, 2019) – On May 27, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.

Around 10:15 p.m., a driver slammed into the side of a squad car in the 2500 block of Interstate 35 west. One officer was inside the car while a second was standing alongside the vehicle.

Both officers were injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

An investigation of the incident found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
