Fatal Collisions In Texas
More than 3,700 people lose their lives in fatal collisions across Texas annually. Unfortunately, accidents involving semi-trucks often result in fatal injuries for those involved. This is especially true in cases where victims are in smaller vehicles along the roadway. Small sedans and pickup trucks stand very little chance against semi-trucks, which can weigh over 60,000 pounds.
When victims lose their lives in fatal collisions, they often leave behind families who are devastated by their loss. When victims die as the result of negligent or reckless drivers, surviving family members may be entitled to restitution to help alleviate the financial burdens they face in the aftermath of these horrific collisions. Surviving family members are encouraged to reach out to a wrongful death attorney in Texas as soon as possible.
