Jefferson County, TX – Driver Arrested For Dirt Bike Fatality On Texas 105

Jefferson County, TX (May 29, 2019) – On May 28, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Texas 105.

According to reports, Willie Yoder III was traveling north along River Bend Road when he struck a dirt bike head-on, which was driven by 36-year-old Roy Martin, Jr. The impact of the collision forced Martin off his bike.

Martin sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers. An investigation of the incident found that Yoder was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Yoder was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
