Lubbock, TX – Juan Saucedo Killed In US 70 Crash
Lubbock, TX (May 29, 2019) – On May 28, around 5:45 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US 70 near FM 1424.
According to reports, a car was traveling north along FM 1424 when the driver ran a red light at the intersection of US 70. Upon entering into the intersection, the vehicle struck another vehicle, which was being driven west on US 70 by 36-year-old Juan Saucedo.
The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to go off the roadway. Saucedo’s vehicle rolled over, causing him to be ejected. Saucedo sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
The driver of the other motor vehicle was transported to Covenant Hospital in Plainview for treatment.
