Marble Falls, TX – 17-Year-Old Injured In Crash On RM 1431 With Bus

Marble Falls, TX (May 29, 2019) – On May 29, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on RM 1431.

According to reports, a 17-year-old female was traveling east along RM 1431 in a white Mazda Tribute SUV when she left the roadway on the east side at a curve. The driver re-entered the roadway and struck a school bus in the westbound lane.

The impact of the collision caused the bus to catch on fire. Children on the bus sustained some minor injuries in the collision.

The 17-year-old female driver was seriously injured in the collision and flown to St. David’s Hospital for medical treatment.
