El Paso, TX – Eric Martinez Killed In Crash On Mesa & Resler Streets

El Paso, TX (May 30, 2019) – Around 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the intersection of N. Mesa Street near Resler Drive.

Authorities state that 56-year-old Eric Martinez was crossing the roadway near the intersection when he was struck by a Ford Explorer, which was traveling north along Mesa Street.

Martinez was seriously injured and transported to University Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident remains under investigation at this time. The driver, who was uninjured, remained at the scene of the incident.
