Houston, TX – Woman, Officer, And Child Injured In Crash On Richmond

Houston, TX (May 31, 2019) – On Thursday, May 30, Houston Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 12100 block of Richmond.

According to reports, a woman was traveling west along Richmond, enroute to West Houston Medical Center. As the woman turned into a parking lot for the hospital, her vehicle collided with a Houston Police Officer’s SUV.

The impact of the collision caused the SUV to crash into a tree. The woman’s car crashed into a tree immediately after.

The woman, her small son, and the officer were all injured and transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital for treatment. The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
