Orange County, TX (May 31, 2019) – On May 30, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 10 near the intersection of FM 1132.

According to reports, an unidentified pedestrian was walking along the westbound lanes on Interstate 10 when they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time. No other persons involved in the incident were injured.
