Pedestrian Accidents in El Paso

El Paso, TX – 1 Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Alameda AveIn 2018, El Paso had the most fatal pedestrian accidents that had ever been documented in the city. Thirty-two pedestrians suffered fatal injuries after being struck by vehicles. The top cause of almost every pedestrian accident is drivers being distracted by objects, passengers, alcohol, drugs, or fatigue. When these types of accidents happen late into the evening, it’s highly attributed to distractions with a possible combination of poorly lit roads. No matter what, drivers are supposed to be alert at all times so as to avoid accidentally striking pedestrians.
