Gatesville, TX – Man Struck By Car On East Main Street

Gatesville, TX (June 3, 2019) –  Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 3, Gatesville Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of East Main Street and Lutterloh Avenue.

According to Gatesville Police Lt. Cody Lee, a male pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle in the roadway. The man sustained serious injuries in the collision. Officers arrived to the scene to find a male injured, but conscious and talking.

The injured man was transported to Coryell Memorial Hospital for medical treatment following the incident. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
