Houston, TX (June 3, 2019) – On June 2, just before 10 p.m., police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident at the El Dorado Apartment Homes located in the 200 block of El Dorado.

According to reports, a 2-year-old was walking along the parking lot when they were struck by a motor vehicle reversing into a parking spot.

The child was rushed to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased by emergency crews.

At this time, the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
