Laredo, TX – Jose Izaguirre Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Bob Bullock Loop

Laredo, TX (June 3, 2019) – On May 29, Laredo police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 5000 block of Bob Bullock Loop just after 9:15 p.m.

According to reports, a UISD police officer, who was identified as Jose Izaguirre, was riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle along the roadway when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

Izaguirre sustained serious injuries and was transported to Laredo Medical Center for treatment. Authorities announced that Izaguirre succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving to the hospital.

The driver of the motor vehicle fled the scene but was later apprehended by law enforcement officers. The driver of the car, who was identified as 57-year-old Raymundo Cervantes, was arrested for his involvement in the incident.
