San Antonio, TX – Man Killed In Crash On Poplar Street

San Antonio, TX (June 3, 2019) – Around 1 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, San Antonio Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident in the 1300 block of West Poplar Street.

Police officers report that a man in his 50s was walking along the train tracks near the roadway when he was struck by an oncoming train.

The man sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers. The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
