Abilene, TX – Ronald Crane Killed In Crash On South 1st Street & Portland Avenue

Abilene, TX (June 4, 2019) – On June 1, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident at the intersection of South 1st Street and Portland Avenue around 11:10 p.m.

According to reports, 48-year-old Ronald Crane was crossing South 1st Street when he was struck by a motorcyclist heading west along the roadway.

Cranes sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities later confirmed that Crane succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The motorcyclist was uninjured in the collision.
