Austin, TX – Pedestrian Injured In Crash On Burnet Road

Austin, TX (June 5, 2019) – On Wednesday, June 5, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at 1409 Burnet Road.

According to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were working in the area on arresting an individual on an outstanding warrant when the suspect took off on foot. The suspect, who was identified as 25-year-old Preston Marcel Molina, got into a vehicle and ran over Senior Deputy Richard Miller, who was assisting.

Other deputies were able to stop the vehicle and apprehend the suspect. The injured deputy was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in serious condition.
