Baytown, TX – Jesus Lozano Injured In Texas 146 Crash
Baytown, TX (June 5, 2019) – On June 3, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Texas 146.
According to reports, 18-year-old Jesus Lozano and his friend Jonathan Prieto were on their way home from celebrating with family when Lozano’s 1983 Pontiac Lowrider stopped on the side of the road for unknown reasons. The two men exited their vehicle and began to evaluate the vehicle, a red Yukon sped along and crashed into the rear-end of Lozano’s vehicle.
Mr. Prieto jumped out of the way, but Lozano was unable to move in time. The impact of the collision caused the Pontiac to strike Lozano, pinning him to the ground. The driver of the Yukon fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle a few miles down the road.
Lozano was transported to an area hospital for treatment to injuries sustained.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
