Newtown, TX – Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Farm-to-Market 363

Newtown, TX (June 5, 2019) – Just before 4:30 a.m. on June 5, Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm-to-Market Road 363 less than one mile from Bleakwood.

According to reports from DPS, a driver noticed a pedestrian walking near the roadway around 3 a.m. The same driver returned through the same area of the roadway around 4:30 a.m. when they noticed an individual lying in the roadway.

The driver immediately called the local authorities to notify them of the individual. Emergency crews responded to the scene to find 57-year-old Robert Earl Medley in the roadway with fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation as law enforcement agencies attempt to locate the driver responsible for this incident.
