Robstown, TX – Male Killed In Semi-Truck Crash On Highway 77

Robstown, TX (June 5, 2019) – Just after 2 a.m. on June 5, Robstown Police Department and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 77 near County Road 44.

Reports from the incident say an 18-wheeler collided with a Camaro along the roadway for unknown reasons. The driver of the Camaro, who was only identified as a male in his early 20s, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the collision.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time. However, law enforcement officers believe the weather played a role in this incident.
