Odessa, TX – Felix Jaramillo Killed In Crash On University Blvd
Odessa, TX (June 6, 2019) – On Wednesday, June 5th, Odessa Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of University Boulevard and Bonham.
According to reports, Felix Jaramillo was traveling along the roadway on a motorcycle. At the same time, Jose Angel Ramirez-Rodriguez was traveling along University Boulevard in a Ford F-350. Ramirez-Rodriguez failed to yield the right of way and collided in his vehicle with Jaramillo. Ramirez-Rodriguez then fled the scene of the incident.
Jaramillo sustained serious injuries and was transported to Medical Center Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Authorities were able to locate Ramirez-Rodriguez in the 3500 block of Andrews Highway and take him into custody. Ramirez-Rodriguez is being charged with criminal negligent homicide and failure to stop and render aid.
