Sherman County, TX – One Killed & Two Injured In Crash On State Highway 15

Sherman County, TX (June 6, 2019) – Just before 1:40 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 15 approximately nine miles east of Stratford.

According to reports, 38-year-old Gerardo Pena was traveling along the roadway in a vehicle with a one-year-old child and 28-year-old Claudia Lechuga-Anaya when his vehicle collided with a bull in the roadway.

Gerardo and the one-year-old child were transported to an area hospital where they were treated for injuries and released.

Lechuga-Anaya was transported to a Lubbock Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
