Dallas, TX – Heladia & Santini Ochoa Killed In Crash On Elam Road
Dallas, TX (June 7, 2019) – Around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 10100 block of Elam Road.
According to reports, a Toyota Sequoia was traveling east along the roadway when it approached the intersection of Masters Drive. As the SUV was turning left, it was struck by a Ford F-150 traveling west on Elam Road through the intersection at a high rate of speed.
The impact of the collision caused the SUV to crash into a traffic light pole.
The male driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The female passenger, who was identified as 35-year-old Heladia Ochoa, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
The 6-year-old boy in the backseat, identified as Santini Ochoa, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the pickup was charged with intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault for this incident.
