Vehicle Accidents in Austin
Over 10,000 accidents occur in Austin every year, with causes varying from cell phone usage, speed, excessive alcohol consumption, drowsiness, other passengers, and more. Sometimes emergencies occur and drivers may have a moment where they are distracted from the road. For example, a driver’s children may have spilled something, an unidentifiable object may hit the windshield, a large insect may fly in the car and startle the driver, along with many other random scenarios. For these reasons, it’s important for drivers not to tailgate each other in case the driver in front has to brake suddenly.
