Pedestrian Accidents in Austin

Austin, TX - Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on N I-35 Service RdIn 2018, pedestrian fatalities were responsible for 42 percent of all deaths in Houston. Most pedestrian accidents occur in areas that have a speed limit of 45 miles per hour or higher. The leading cause of these accidents is almost always distracted driving. When a light turns green and a driver makes a right turn without yielding for pedestrians, there’s a chance that they will accidentally strike someone who is crossing the street, especially if the driver is looking down at a phone. If a driver is traveling at high speed, there’s a chance that the injuries sustained will be critical.

At Benton Law Firm, we are aware of how irresponsible drivers can be, which is why we are constantly helping injured pedestrians file personal injury lawsuits against drivers who hurt them. We work hard for our clients until they are fairly compensated for current and future medical bills and more.
