Houston, TX – Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on I-45

Houston, TX (June 9, 2019) On the morning of June 9th, a fatal pedestrian accident happened on the Interstate 45 Freeway, not far from West Parker Road. A black Dodge truck hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the interstate to get to the Parker exit. The accident happened around 6:00 a.m.

Witness claim they saw a man attempting to dodge traffic as he crossed the highway to reach the exit, but an off-duty firefighter ended up striking him.

When the paramedics and the Houston Police Department arrived, they found the man lying in the roadway with fatal injuries.

The Houston Police Department is still investigating the accident to finalize the facts.
