Arlington, TX – Patrick Beck & Leah Beck Killed In I-20 Crash
Arlington, TX (June 10, 2019) – On Thursday, June 6th, Arlington Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20, near the overpass for South Center Street.
Reports from the incident show that around 11:00 p.m., 29-year-old Jose Castrol was traveling east along Interstate 20 when his vehicle drifted onto the shoulder. In drifting over, Castro’s vehicle struck one of two cars which were stuck under the bridge.
The impact of the collision forced the struck car to crash into a second parked car before all three cars caught on fire.
One person outside of the car and one person inside of the car sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. A third victim was transported to Medical City Arlington where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Police later confirmed that two victims killed in this incident were 55-year-old Patrick Beck and 23-year-old Leah Beck.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
