Dallas, TX – Crane Collapse Kills One & Injures Several In Downtown Dallas

Dallas, TX (June 10, 2019) – Multiple first responders, fire departments, and emergency crews responded to the scene of a major accident in downtown Dallas on June 9th.

Reports show that a crane crashed into an apartment building, and attached parking garage, in the 2600 block of Live Oak Street.

The collapse of the crane caused a significant portion of the building to collapse. Emergency crews declared a Mass Casualty Incident regarding the scene of dispatched several ambulances to the scene. Search and Rescue dogs were on site to locate victims in the incident.

Preliminary reports from the incident show that one person died and over six people were injured in the incident. Several injured victims were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment.
