Fort Worth, TX – Pedestrian Fatality Closes East Loop 820

Fort Worth, TX (June 10, 2019) – On June 6th, Fort Worth Police Department and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the East Loop 820.

According to reports, a pedestrian entered the roadway from a bridge over the East Loop onto the westbound lanes of Interstate 30. As the pedestrian landed, they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim sustained fatal injuries in the incident and was pronounced deceased on-site.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
