Navarro County, TX (June 12, 2019) – On Monday, June 10, the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on CR-4160.

According to reports, an older-modeled white SUV was traveling along the roadway when it struck a 7-year-old girl. The child was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital for medical treatment with serious injuries.

The driver responsible for this incident fled the scene before authorities could arrive. The vehicle is believed to be a Chevy Trailblazer with right-side damage, but the incident remains under investigation at this time.
