Rogers, TX – Misty Byram & Jerome Smith ID’d As Victims of US Hwy 190 Crash

Rogers, TX (June 12, 2019) – On Sunday, June 9, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 190 just before 10 p.m.

According to reports, a car was traveling down the roadway. After some distance, the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as 39-year-old Misty Byram, attempted to pass another vehicle on the road.

As Ms. Byram’s vehicle entered into the opposite lane, it struck another vehicle head-on. Byram sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

The passenger in her vehicle, 57-year-old Jerome Smith, was transported to Baylor Scott and White, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
