Montgomery County, TX – Eddie Zimmerman Killed In Motorcycle Crash On 105 West
Montgomery County, TX (June 13, 2019) – On June 12, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Conroe Police Department responded to the scene of a major collision in the 16000 block of TX-105 West.
According to reports, 62-year-old Eddie Zimmerman was riding on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was struck by a motor vehicle. Evidence found at the scene indicates the vehicle responsible for the incident was a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. The truck struck the Harley Davidson from behind while it was stopped at a red light.
The driver of the truck then fled the scene, leaving the driver of the motorcycle on the roadway.
Zimmerman was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 9:54 p.m.
An investigation enabled officers to locate the vehicle within two hours from the accident and arrest 21-year-old Jonathan Cuevas for failure to stop and render aid.
