Randall County, TX – Vickie Capps Killed In Loop 335 Collision

Randall County, TX (June 13, 2019) – On Tuesday, June 11, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Loop 335 near South Osage Street.

Reports from the incident show that around 4:08 p.m., 62-year-old Vickie Capps was traveling south on Binder Street. After Capps entered the main lanes of South Loop 335, she attempted to make a U-turn. During her attempt, her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck driven by 52-year-old Prosper Kodzo.

Capps sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other injuries reported in the collision.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
