Houston, TX – Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle On Westheimer Rd

Houston, TX (June 17, 2019) – On June 15, emergency crews in Houston were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident just before 8:30 p.m.

The incident occurred in the 4900 block of Westheimer Road, right in front of the Galleria Mall. Houston Police state that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when they were struck by an SUV.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

At this time, the cause of the incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
