Harris County, TX (June 18, 2019) – At approximately 10 p.m. on June 17, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Old Bammel North Houston and State Highway 249.

Reports from the incident state that a Chevy HHR and a second vehicle engaged in a rear-end collision along the roadway. As a result of the incident, an 8-year-old girl in the Chevy was injured.

The injured child was transported via helicopter to a trauma center for her injuries.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
