Travis County, TX – Sheriff Deputy Injured In Collision On Tuscany Way

Travis County, TX (June 19, 2019) – At approximately 3:30 a.m., on June 18, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Tuscany Way near Highway 290 in Northeast Austin.

Reports state that a motor vehicle collided with a sheriff deputy’s patrol car on the highway for unknown reasons. The deputy sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and was fully cooperative with responding authorities. At this time, the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
