Workplace Accidents in Texas

Lubbock, TX - Man Injured in Industrial Accident on Ash AveIn 2012, almost 20 percent of fatalities that occur in the workplace are caused by objects falling on workers. Employers are responsible for making sure the work environment is safe for their employees, and when they fail to upkeep the workspace, they’re committing a form of negligence. Employers are responsible for properly scanning all areas to ensure no toxic fumes exist, no dangerous objects fall, no floors are wet, and more. It’s unfortunate when employers fail to upkeep their workspace areas and expect employees to safely perform their duties to benefit the company.

At Benton Law Firm, we are constantly helping injured employees file personal injury lawsuits against all possible negligent parties, which include employers. We believe employees should work in nonhazardous areas because their lives should not be put at risk when providing services at work.
