Gun Barrel City, TX – Employee Injured at Burger King in North Texas
Gun Barrel City, TX (June 23, 2019) On the 22nd of June, a workplace accident happened at a Burger King located at 151 West Main Street. An employee was at work at around 7:00 a.m. when he fell through the roof, which caused his leg to get caught.
The Gun Barrel City Fire Department arrived and used a saw to cut around the man in order to free him. They then lowered him down with a rope harness, which the firefighters claim was a challenge. However, they were able to successfully free the employee. The man was then evaluated by UT Health EMS.
The police are currently investigating to determine what led up to the dangerous incident.
