Bicycle Accidents in Texas

Lubbock, TX - Bicyclist Injured in Bicycle Accident on N Detroit AveOver 12,000 bicyclists were injured in Texas within a 5-year span, according to recent studies. Most of these accidents occur when drivers are distracted, tired, or drunk, especially if the accident occurs late in the evening. Even though drivers are required to give riders at least 3 feet, drivers fail to abide by this ordinance and continue to accidentally strike and seriously harm bicyclists. If more drivers respected bicyclists’ rights on the road, less riders would sustain injuries.

At Benton Law Firm, we work hard to help injured bicyclists recover enough funds to assist them with all necessary medical treatment and other damages. Injured riders should not be held financially responsible for damages caused by other negligent drivers.
