Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Plainview, TX - Man Hurt in Pedestrian Accident on W 5th StWhenever pedestrian accidents occur after midnight but before 6:00 a.m., one of the top causes is drunk driving. When drivers leave bars, clubs, and parties after consuming too much alcohol, they put themselves and everyone nearby in serious danger because they’re minds are completely impaired. They’re unable to assess the distance between another vehicle or pedestrian and themselves. They are also unable to respond quickly to their surroundings. Not to mention, their vision gets blurred making it even more difficult to see their surroundings during night hours. Under these circumstances, pedestrians are more likely to get hit by drivers who are under the influence.
