Harris County, TX – Crash On Highway 249 Results In Fatal Injuries

Harris County, TX (June 25, 2019) – On June 25, just before 3:30 a.m., emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 249 between North Houston Rosslyn Road and NW Park Drive.

According to reports, a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a car. An investigation of the incident found that a male in his 20s just finished his shift at the Whataburger when he was driving a Hyundai Sonata down the freeway. The pedestrian was speaking with a female before entering into the roadway.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
