Austin, TX – Nancy Graham Charged In Crash At McDonald’s On Manchaca Road

Austin, TX (June 27, 2019) – On Friday, June 21, police and emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the McDonald’s located near Manchaca Road and Slaughter Lane.

Reports from the incident indicate that 76-year-old Nancy Graham was sitting in her vehicle in a handicapped spot in a parking lot outside of the McDonald’s when, for unknown reasons, the woman applied the gas pedal. Graham’s vehicle flew into reverse then crashed through the wall of the McDonald’s restaurant.

Three customers inside the building, including a child, were injured in the collision.

Police issued a field sobriety test on Graham and found that she was under the influence at the time of her incident. Further investigation of her vehicle allowed officers to locate several open cans of alcohol. Graham was arrested for the incident and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time.
