Fort Bend County, TX – Sesinna Kahsay Identified As Victim Of Bissonnet St Crash

Fort Bend County, TX (June 26, 2019) – On June 20, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bissonnet Street and Hodges Bend.

According to reports, 38-year-old Angela Smith ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck an 8-year-old child, later identified as Sesinna Kahsay.

Smith fled the scene of the incident before law enforcement arrived. On Friday, June 21, police located Smith and took her into custody.

Kahsay was transported to an area hospital where she remained in critical condition until Saturday, June 22, when she succumbed to her injuries.
