Polk County, TX – Ray Elvis Battise Identified As Victim Of SH-190 Crash
Polk County, TX (June 26, 2019) – On June 25, the Texas Department of Public Safety identified the third victim of the crash in late April on State Highway 190 as Ray Elvis Battise.
Reports completed June 7 indicate that a 2015 Dodge pickup truck was traveling west along SH-190 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed over the center lines and struck a Cadillac pickup in the eastbound lanes head-on.
The driver of the Dodge, who was identified as 40-year-old Alton Kimes, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. His passenger, 40-year-old Naomi Moody, was transported to CH St. Luke’s Hospital and later to Conroe Regional Medical Center.
The third victim, later identified as Ray Elvis Battise, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
