Richardson, TX – Victims Of Bush Turnpike Crash Identified

Richardson, TX (June 28, 2019) – On June 27, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the President George Bush Turnpike near Midway.

According to reports, a Honda Civic, driven by 22-year-old Katherine Long, attempted to make a U-turn onto the westbound lanes. After doing so, Long continued down the roadway in the wrong direction before collided with a black Ford Taurus driven by 53-year-old Joseph M. Wallace.

Long sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

Wallace was transported to Medical City Plano where he later succumbed to his injuries.
