Head-On Collisions in Texas

Bexar County, TX - 1 Killed and 2 Injured in Head-On Collision on FM 1560In 2015, approximately 587 people sustained fatal injuries in head-on collisions throughout Texas. The lead cause of most of these collisions is usually drunk driving, especially if the accident happens in the middle of the night. The reason these accidents are more dangerous than other types of accidents is because when two vehicles collide head-on, the force is twice as impactful than other types of accidents. Therefore, more people end up sustaining catastrophic or fatal injuries.
