A vehicle struck a man who attempted to run across the freeway to reach the exit. When the paramedics and police officers arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian lying in the roadway with serious injuries. The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are still investigating the accident to determine the details of what led up to the accident.

We wish the injured pedestrian a quick recovery.
