Kaufman, TX – Injury in Motorcycle Crash on TX-242
Kaufman, TX (July 4, 2019) – Wednesday evening on July 3rd, reports confirm that a victim was injured after being involved in a motorcycle collision with another vehicle. The crash took place at 6:46 p.m. on the 5600 block of TX-242 near Dickerson and Cartwright Ln. outside of Kaufman.
Paramedics and other response units were at the scene of the crash in order to render aid to the injured motorcyclist.
The victim had to be airlifted to a hospital in Dallas due to sustained injuries. The exact condition of the motorcyclist was not reported. It was not reported if occupants of the other vehicle sustained any injuries in the collision.
The cause of the crash is currently being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
