Dallas, TX – One Arrested After Fatal Car Accident on East Hurst Boulevard

Dallas, TX (July 6, 2019) – One man died and another was arrested after a fatal car accident in Hurst on Thursday afternoon, July 4th.

According to police, the driver of a green Ford F150 stopped in the outside westbound lane of East Hurst Boulevard, near Brown Trail, around 12:30 p.m. after having trouble with his vehicle. As the driver walked to the back of the pickup, a black Nissan Pathfinder crashed into the rear of the Ford.

The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, died at the scene.

Police arrested the driver of the Nissan Pathfinder, 29-year-old Christopher Thompson, on charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The car accident remains under investigation.
