Austin, TX – Multi-Vehicle Injury Accident Occurs on IH-35 Near Cesar Chavez St

Austin, TX (July 7, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate Highway 35 in downtown Austin caused traffic delays on Saturday morning, July 6th.

According to officials, the crash happened at the 600 block of IH-35 at Cesar Chavez Street and involved four vehicles.

One adult man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The highway was reduced to one lane and southbound traffic was diverted onto the frontage road. Delays in the area continued as crews cleared the area.
