Tyler, TX – EMS At Scene Of Crash At Toll 49 & Old Jacksonville Hwy

Tyler, TX (July 9, 2019) – A two-vehicle crash occurred in south Tyler last causing traffic delays in both directions. The incident was reported on the evening of Monday, July 8th, at the intersection of Toll 49 and Old Jacksonville Hwy.

Around 6:19 p.m. emergency responders arrived at the scene to render aid to those injured and clear the roads of debris.  Traffic has been directed to one lane each for both southbound and northbound lanes. One car had to be towed from the scene, in order to clear the road and reopen to traffic.

Little information has been released concerning the details of the accident or the type and extent of injuries sustained. 

EMS is collecting statements from witnesses, as the cause of the accident is under investigation.
