Arlington, TX – Officer Injured In DWI Accident On I-30
Arlington, TX (July 10, 2019) – A woman was charged with DWI after striking a motorcycle and a police officer, destroying the bike and injuring the officer. The crash happened after the driver veered into the left-hand shoulder of Interstate 30, striking the officer and the motorcycle.
The officer was standing next to the bike to conduct a traffic stop. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.
25-year-old Christina Jordan Carpenter was charged with felony DWI due to having three or more previous offenses. Carpenter also was injured in the collision.
Carpenter’s vehicle was damaged in the accident and the motorcycle was destroyed.
The crash is currently under investigation.
